Eliza’s Medallion

This original quilt design by Megan Carroll was inspired by a wonderful counterpane by Mrs. Eliza Bennis thought to have been brought with her on her journey from Ireland to her new home in America in the 1780s. Megan’s quilt is a lovely mix of piecing and appliqué borders around the broderie perse centrepiece of a tree with peacocks. The pattern includes full size appliqué & border designs.
