Josephine
Petra Prins, a reproduction fabric enthusiast is the latest designer to join the Windham Fabrics design team. The fabrics for the Josephine collection are reproductions of an antique quilt from Dutch private collection. Most prints are from the second half of the 18th century and are part of French origin. Not surprising because at this time the Netherlands was under Napoleon literally a part of France. The name of the collection is "Josephine" in honor of Napolean Bonaparte legal wife Josephine de Beauharnais.
